Uninstallation

Alright, I know this is the installation board, but it did seem to be the most logical. I have one machine that. I dont need newfies on anymore, but it is a slow machine with kde on it, I'd like to not have newfies running in the background.

You can remove the apache conf file added by the install script "APACHE_CONF_DIR/newfies.conf", that will remove the UI.

To disable the backend celery, you can run the following on Ubuntu :

cd /etc/init.d/
update-rc.d -f newfies-celeryd remove
