Server Error You've Encountered an Error!

I just installed Newfies on a clean install of Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Server. I followed all the instructions in the beginners guide. Unfortunately, when I try to start a campaign, I get a screen that says:

Server Error

You've Encountered an Error!

There is no error code and no instructions. I can pause, stop, and abort campaigns without problem. But starting creates the error. I had installed Newfies on a test machine a little over a month ago (same version of Linux) and after much working and wringing of my hands got it to work. However, I'm at a loss now. Does anyone have any suggestions?

As a side note, has anyone had success getting Newfies to install on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS?

Hello,

You might be able to see some error details in your apache logs.

My guess will be that you have an issue with Redis, but I'm not 100% sure.

I use Ubuntu 12.04, so you should not have any issues to make it works on it. At the moment the install script we provide is only supporting 10.04TLS.
Next version of Newfies-Dialer will certainly support Ubuntu 12.04TLS and Django1.4 but you might need to wait a bit for that.
