Can I install newfies-dialer using the install script provided on beginners' guide, on a CentOS 5.7 on XenServer with uname -a (a VPS really):

Linux HOST_NAME 2.6.18-274.18.1.el5xen #1 SMP Thu Feb 9 13:27:02 EST 2012 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Try it and let us know. The script has been tested against Ubuntu LTS 10.04 and CentOS 6.2

Nope.

Didn't work. Tested on both Debian 6.3 and CentOS 5.7 on XEN and VMware. None worked.

Different issues though...
