audio missing and configuring an IVR ?

Postby kdaffef » Fri Jan 27, 2012 11:15 am

Hi in this new forum,

We have a new installation of newfies installed on a local server (Ubuntu 10.0.4 Server Edition). Freeswitch is running and we have tow gateways configured and registered with our SIP gateways. The gateway shows registered and we have made a successful test call from Freeswitch.

The problem is that :
1- We gave uploaded an audio .wav file (via voiceapp), and when the call is initiated, we could hear nothing and the call was terminated without playing that audio file ??

2- We want to be able to build an IVR with choices (for 1 > message 1, for 2 > message 2 and so on ...), how we can do that ??

1000 Thanks

Kamel

1) It might worth it to look at the plivo look to troubleshot the issue, it could be a audio format issue

2) IVR can be created directly on Freeswitch!
At the moment, if you want to accomplish this, you can create the IVR (http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Demo-ivr.xml) application into Freeswitch and use the dial loopback (http://wiki.freeswitch.org/wiki/Loopback) to call the context/extension from Newfies with the Dial command.
