I have problem with setting up a campaign in the customer panel.
I am using Ubuntu tls and everything has been compiled installed so far.
I have tested my gateway with freeswitch i can make and receive calls with no hassle, the admin page of newfies allows me to configure all parameters without a problem.
But when i click on customer panel the error i get is" Your settings are not configured properly, Please contact the administrator. (Notification sent) "
I have created a contact, phonebook and voipapp and the issue still remains.
I was able to create a campaign in the admin panel but when it comes to creating one in the customer panel i get the above error and will not let me proceed without fixing the settings.

Hi,

I will recommend you to read the beginners guide :
http://www.newfies-dialer.org/documenta ... ers-guide/

Dialer Settings

Each customer, including the root user, needs to have Dialer Settings and trunks associated with their account. These set the limit to which each customer can utilise Newfies-Dialer in terms of trunks, calls per minute, call duration, subscribers and campaigns, as well as blacklisting or whitelisting phone numbers.

In the Admin Dashboard, locate the Dialer Settings, and click Add, in the name, put “DS1” and, for the moment, leave the default settings as they are, then save them.

The Dialer Settings have to be associated with the customer’s account. For the purposes of this demonstration, we are using the root user. In production, you would apply these settings to the customers.

In the Admin dashboard, click Admins, then root. Scroll to the bottom of the page.

Optionally add an accountcode, which can be used for billing in an external billing application to identify the customer from the CDR. The accountcode must be numerical.
Select which Dialer Settings apply to this customer, in this case “DS1″
Select which gateway(s) this customer is allowed to use.
Finally, click save.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the clue. It works by setting up the dialer settings with DS1.
The issue is with the Gateway I presume....I can make outbound calls with freeswitch but when i run the campaign i get this error!!!!

Which is the right way to configure the gateway in the admin panel?

my gateway is sipstation...i.e "example.phonebooth.net"
in the gateway value i put in sofia/gateway/example.phonebooth.net and also tried just having example.phonebooth.net but still getting the error.
All calls have been attempted by plavio. Thanks

roblems solved outgoing calls working well....tried the speak type and hello world to test.
Guys you need to pay good attention to your freeswitch gateway config should you want to configure your gateway to work well. Good App.
Now how can i upload media to be played to newfies?
Can freeswitch be used for that situation?

The current release - as of last night - includes an Audio Upload facility.

Awesome app.
I tested with the previous version and uploaded audio via the admin panel without a problem.
Now the new version audio upload is not allowing me to save the correct url in the field.
The audio does upload to the /usr/share/newfies/usermedia/upload/audiofiles directory.
I can play and listen to the audio file by clicking on the file but the url field says example.com/blablabla and does not have a save option to the url.

Hi

The url field display in the customer panel do not display the correct url from admin voice app.....
.

This is something you have to do manually, as detailed in the beginner's guide.

Set Hostname

Some of the features of Newfies-Dialer are dependent on the hostname or IP address, so this has to be set correctly in site address.

In the Admin dashboard, locate the “Sites” link and click change. By default, there will be an entry of “example.com”. Edit this setting to reflect the hostname of the server, or if you do not have this set up, the IP address. e.g. http://www.domain.tld:8008 or in the case of an IP address, http://192.168.1.200:8008

My audio and campaign works great. Some observations:-
I have changed the entry of example.com in the sites location under the admin, however the customer profile do not reflect changes.
restarted the web server but the audio section in the customer profile takes too long to propagate wondering if it is best to just upload audio through the admin.
