Creating SIP Trunk

Hi Guys
Im creating a sip trunk. I have encounted a few issues:
1. I couldnt find this directory as per the "beginners guide" etc/freeswitch/sip_profiles/external/ so i created it.
2. The guide then says run fs_cli- this is nowhere to be found on the server.
Please help

Hi
It sounds like for whatever reason, Freeswitch did not install. I'd reinstall and watch for errors or failures.

Thanks for you reply. I did a fresh install and its worse. i cant even browse to the server. Can you share your setup? OS and and Newfies build and maybe a detailed guide as the website is not detailed.

from my understanding you might be getting mixed up. I dont think newfies is the sip trunk, its a autodialer. you feed your sip trunking information to it. for sip you need to sign up with a company, there are a lot if you google them. I for instance use callwithus.com, but the file you refer to contains the info for the sip trunk, so your not making one.
as far as the installation goes, did you reinstall the entire os, it sounded like it but i just wanted to doublecheck.
