500 Internal Server Error

Hi Areski,

This error comes after i tried to reinstall the application, as you can see this error showed in the bottom on the log, it was not there before i tried to reinstall.
So I tried to install it again on a clean Ubuntu OS, the database application build is empty. the database error OperationalError: (1045, "Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: YES)") not appear.
Here is the new logs err-apache-newfies.log

all other logs are empty.

I ran into same problem during my test. Trying to run newfies-dialler installer script again, but this time carefully change the MySQL password, and do not leave it as: "password" as suggested by default. This worked for me.

hi guys
i got the same error during my installation.
after few hours (3 or even 4) of dozens downloads and compilations the DB structure still did not appear to be build.
usually it takes 1-2 minutes to build it from the dump.may be you have some installation package that does not need all
those tens of downloads and compilations during the installation process? the installation process of at least 3 hours is much more
then install the OS while the amount of data i got during installation is a few mega bites.it looks a bit wired no?
please can you prepare the installation package like A2billing one that is very comfortable for installation and does not depend form online connection during
the installation while i have not very stable one and it seems leads me to reinstall the software over and over again that takes 4 hours every try.

One of the main reason why the installation take time, it's that we need to compile Freeswitch, this depends of the horsepower of your server, on slow machine I saw this taking a lot of time.
Personally I do run full installation on my servers in 20minutes, which I think it's a acceptable time to install a software!

Without Freeswitch install, it takes few minutes to be install Newfies-Dialer!
Anyway, we might have soon Deb package for Freeswitch, so this will speed up things.

A2Billing is a totally different type of software and it's based on Asterisk, which you can easily install from repository.

If you want to compare the time of Newfies install to A2Billing, you should only run ./install-newfies.sh

do you have for download some kind of ISO like FusionBPX has on http://www.fusionpbx.com/download.php but also that includes the newfies-dialer?

i looked through the Web an did not find any users references about use of the newfies-dialer on production servers.
could be it is still not experienced on production server still?
